Managing Cabinet Contents

Cabinet Manager

The Cabinet Navigator is easily the most viewed page within openDCIM, as it presents a visualization of devices within your cabinet container. It is also the most granular level at which we compute capacity for space, power, and weight.

Within the cabinet itself, any devices that are defined to reside within the cabinet are shown as clickable links. If you click on the link, it will display the device detail, including any associated switch or power strip connections. If the device is a chassis, it will also display child devices in the detail screen.

Database Information

There is no direct database table correlation to the view you are presented in cabnvigator.php, as it is a combination of data from fac_Cabinet (the container itself), fac_PowerDistribution (the power strips / CDUs), and fac_Devices (the items located within the cabinet).
